I managed 3 projects at Telenor:
- Automating order handling from frontend through financial and logistics systems, provisioning, and customer support
- Optimization of order flow
- New product portfolio
My contribution
- Scope, push and structure a project aiming to automate order handling which needed a restart, together with business sponsors and IT department, and lead it to completion. Scope was telenor.dk, mobil2kr.dk, selvhenter.dk (85 percent of all online sales), and customer support
- Identification of requirements and constraints together with product managers through workshop facilitation
- Refine business case and align architecture to updated ambitions together with architects (Tridion, BEA WebLogic, provisioning systems)
- Introduce new payment gateway, update product pages, improve price integration, add new baskets functionality
- Establish a set of new products for buying devices via subscriptions
- Report to program manager, establish risk assessments, manage external resources, maintain budget and control functions
- Ensure environments for development and test operations
- Test planning and execution, development of test cases
- Manage GoLive deployments; facilitate hand-over activities and subsequent optimizations
