Team / Delivery Manager (Capgemini)
Establish a team to support development and maintenance of SAP SD, PS, PM, and CATS modules for a very large public sector solution (OPUS). Responsibility included negotiating release plans with the business side, and a transformation process following ITIL Business Relationship Management recommendations.
My contribution
- Traditional project management including analysing business requirements, managing skills, resource planning, and reporting
- Create and maintain a process for estimation, test plans, evaluation, and external request for resources
- Negotiating and prioritising release content with the business side and 1st level support organisation
- Time and resource budgeting, accounting for performance, vacation, courses, sickness and external tasks
- Incident management, 2nd level support SLA and CMMI documentation
- Facilitation of a programme level transformation towards ITIL Business Relationship Management
It was a highly productive, coherent team of 6-10 people, and we accomplished successful delivery of 5 major releases as well as a series of smaller ad-hoc maintenance releases.
